Service Description

Racik Jamu. Jampi (djampi) means prayer or hope, and usada (oesodo) means health. This is believed to be the root word of jamu (djamoe)—the Javanese traditional herbal-based medicinal concoction known in the archipelago around 1,300 years ago. Concocting, serving, and consuming jamu as herbal medicine cannot be separated from the prayers and hopes accompanying it: for the body to be healthy and well. Find out how to make a simple jamu and learn about their various benefits—to consume on the spot or to take home.
